Come and see the snowdrops at Cambo

St Andrews Coach Houses Facebook Page

I am delighted to let you know that we now have a business Facebook page for the Coach Houses at this link (press ctrl and then click to open the page) https://www.facebook.com/pages/St-Andrews-Coach-Houses/128394547269877

Facebook provides a great way of communicating and keeping in touch. I use it to post photos of our animals and give details of what’s been happening on the farm. I will also use it to post details of special offers, competitions and late availability. If you already have a personal Facebook page and would like to be kept up to date please “like” our page (this means that you will get regular updates of my posts) and I would  be really grateful if you would “share” our page with your friends as that is a brilliant way of spreading the word about our   relatively new business. Also you can unsubscribe at any stage if you want.

Also our new website has just recently gone “live” check it out at  www.standrewscoachhouses.co.uk

Our cattle shed looks like a maternity ward as currently we have around 10 gorgeous little calves running around; only another 30 cows left to calve. Fortunately our cows are what you would call “easy care” i.e. they tend to be able to do it all themselves. We do get the occasional problem but fortunately they are few and far between. These are the first calves off our new Limousine Bull and John is delighted with the results. As you can see they do look rather sweet, see below.

Also our pedigree Zwartbles sheep are due to lamb late March/early April. We started off with 8 in 2010 and now have 16 so it is all going in the right direction! As we now only have availability in the first week of the Easter holidays (i.e. commencing 30th March) please contact me shortly if you want to come to avoid disappointment. Also summer is starting to fill up so if you would like to stay please contact me shortly.

Snowdrops by Starlight, Cambo Estate, 11th – 19th February

Thousands of visitors head to Cambo Estate in Fife each February to walk through the 70 acres of beautiful snowdrop woods.  For something truly special, why not visit at night to experience Snowdrops by Starlight.  The woods are transformed by light effects to create an enchanting wonderland that the whole family can enjoy.

This is just us going into year four of St Andrews Coach Houses and we are delighted at how well the business is going. We love meeting our new guests but the most special thing is being able to welcome our return guests. John and I do hope that we will see you back at some stage in 2012
