St Andrews Coach Houses

Holidays for Groups

The Coach Houses are an ideal location for a group celebration as we can accommodate up to 18 guests in proper beds on site in four separate lodges that are either adjoining or minutes apart.  So whether you are coming to celebrate a wedding, family birthday or any other type of group celebration we provide the ideal location.

All the guests that have stayed with us as part of a group have said what a fantastic time they had.

Priory Lodge sleeps 6 in three separate bedrooms with its own private hot tub and  the three coach houses each sleep 4 in two  separate bedrooms. Also if required a Z bed can be added in the Eden Coach House so it can sleep up to 5.

The Coach Houses  are adjoining, as you will see from the photo above, making it easy to socialize and each cottage has a table that opens up to accommodate a minimum of 8 people. You also have the privacy of your own  luxury lodge to go back to when you feel like it.

Also we have lots of  space for parking.

Feeling competitive but don't want to go out, try our activity barn. With pool, badminton, table tennis and lots more in a covered barn you can play to your heart content. Our groups have all really enjoyed the activity barn and organized some very entertaining sports activities for all to take part in!

St Andrews and the East Neuk of Fife provide endless possibilities for enjoyment boasting some world class restaurants, lively bars and an amazing selection of activities. The only problem will be having enough time to fit it all in!  Despite what some may think there is so much to do in St Andrews and the surrounding area other than just golf.

Another option of course is just to put your feet up and relax in the luxurious surroundings of St Andrews Coach Houses!

For the energetic there are plenty of outdoor activities. Have a stroll along the West Sands or spend time wandering around the St Andrews Botanic Garden. If you are feeling lively tackle the Fife Coast Coastal Path. This is a great way to see the East Neuk's quaint fishing villages. If you fancy something more adventurous visit the Isle of May on board the May Princess. Take binoculars as the island is a breeding ground for puffins, guillemots and razorbills. You’ll also see plenty of grey seals which pup here in October.

Golf, clay pigeon shooting, and archery enthusiasts should head for Cluny Clays near Kirkcaldy which is Fife’s largest outdoor activity venue. www.clunyclays.co.uk

Fife is often referred to as The Kingdom of Golf.  St. Andrews and the surrounding area boast some of the best links courses in the U.K. There are parkland courses as well so we are spoilt for choice. Also there are many art galleries, museums and theatres to choose from.

History fans should also make a point of visiting Falkland Palace, in the picturesque village of Falkland, which was a favourite country retreat for the Stuart monarchs, including Mary, Queen of Scots. Visitors can enjoy a flavour of life here daily, from 11am to 5pm (Sunday 1-5), until 31 October.

Another great Castle is Glamis Castle ancestral home of the Earls of Strathmore for over 600 years. Glamis is a living, breathing monument to Scottish hospitality; a place of enjoyment, reflection, laughter and wonder for all. The castle has witnessed more than 600 years of history so why not visit and delight in sharing the many stories, secrets and intriguing tales that surround it. https://www.glamis-castle.co.uk
